FAQ
Safety, Respect & Chemistry
How do I report inappropriate behavior during an event?
If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, please speak directly with the event host and email us at [support@thesocialchemistry.com] after the event. Your comfort comes first — every report is private, and always taken seriously.
Is there a verification process for user profiles?
While there are no public profiles, we do verify participants internally through a combination of identity checks and photo confirmation to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
What happens if someone violates the community guidelines?
Violations are reviewed by our team. Depending on the situation, we may issue a warning, remove the individual from future events, or permanently ban them from the community.
Does Social Chemistry perform background checks on its users?
We do not conduct formal background checks. However, we take all reports seriously and reserve the right to remove anyone who poses a risk to the community.
What safety measures are in place for in-person meetups?
All events are hosted by trained trusted partners or trusted community members. We provide clear event details, encourage connections, and maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or misconduct.
Can I control who can message or contact me?
There is no messaging system between participants. All interactions happen in person during events, which helps maintain privacy and reduce unwanted contact.
How does Social Chemistry verify event hosts or organizers?
Hosts are carefully selected and go through an onboarding process that includes identity verification, training, and alignment with our community values.
Is there a code of conduct for events and group interactions?
Yes. All participants agree to our Code of Conduct, which promotes kindness, respect, and inclusivity.
What are the core values of the Social Chemistry community?
We value authenticity, curiosity, respect, and connection. Our goal is to create spaces where people feel safe being themselves and open to meaningful interactions.
Can I report someone for breaking the rules or being disrespectful?
Yes. Please let the host know during the event or contact us afterward. We count on every guest to help protect the atmosphere that makes SC unforgettable.

How the Nights Work
Can I use Social Chemistry to meet people for friendship, not just dating?
Absolutely. Our events are designed to foster all kinds of connections—friendship, collaboration, and community, not just romance.
How do I find events happening near me?
Visit our website to browse upcoming events by city or theme. You can also sign up for our newsletter to get updates.
Are all events in person?
Yes. Always. SC is about real chemistry — no screens, no swipes, just people.
What happens if an event is canceled or rescheduled?
Yes. Life happens. You’ll receive options to credit, or reschedule.
Can I invite friends who aren’t on Social Chemistry to an event?
Yes, for select events. If guest spots are available, you’ll see an option to RSVP on their behalf or share a private invite link.
How do I get directions or transportation info for an event location?
Event confirmation emails include the address, directions, and nearby transit options. You can also find this info on the event page.
How early should I arrive at an event?
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to check in, settle in, and meet the host. It helps set the tone for a relaxed experience.
Can I attend events in other cities or countries?
Yes! If you’re traveling or relocating, you’re welcome to join events in any city where we operate.
What if I click with someone during my event—can we be grouped together again?
If both of you express interest in reconnecting, let the host know or email us after the event. We’ll do our best to pair you in future experiences.
How can I reach out to someone I clicked with?
Since we don’t offer direct messaging, you can request a reconnection through the host or by contacting us. If both parties agree, we’ll help facilitate a follow-up.
Can I search for people manually instead of waiting for matches?
No. Social Chemistry is designed around shared experiences, not profile browsing. We believe the best connections happen naturally, not through swiping.
